Remove the 10mm bolt holding the neck of the filter to the casting
Pull the filter out, noting the green O ring.
The underside of the filter has two small swarf collecting magnets...
The old filter should be discarded and replaced with a new item. They cost around £35.
Undo the silver headed T27 Torx screws around the centre of the pump. Note these are tight and a high-quality Torx Bit will be required.
Due to the cohesive nature of the oil, the oil; pump cover will be very had to seaparate. Grasp the splines of the stator extension attavched to it and rotate it whilst pushing. The pump cover will eventually speparate.
Note the "pip" marks on the oil pump gears. These are alignment marks and face upwards and upon reassembly, should align.
Check the pump and its gears carefully for damage. Replace if in any doubt as it it's condition.
